Overview
Cost and Insurance
James Clinic is here to help with understanding financial costs and questions, including our treatment prices, the best service(s) for you, determining your best option for lab testing facilities, and more.
We do not accept insurance. While we strive to utilize treatments that may be covered by insurance, like certain blood work and prescriptions, we cannot guarantee reimbursement and some services may not be covered.
Insurance companies often restrict the quality of care by enforcing high patient volumes and brief appointments. At our clinic, we break away from this model by offering extended consultations ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, allowing us to address our patients’ needs thoroughly without the constraints of insurance protocols. This approach enables us to prioritize effective treatments rather than insurance-mandated procedures, which may not always be in the patient’s best interest. This freedom from insurance allows us to focus solely on your health outcomes.
We do not participate in any insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
For some services, like IV Vitamin Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), and Concierge Plans, pricing is available directly through the links provided.
For a Functional Consultation Series that is required to begin with our functional medicine services and Concierge plans, we encourage you to contact us via phone or online. This will allow us to address your queries directly and provide detailed pricing information, including any costs associated with lab testing specific to your needs.
Scheduling
Here is where you can find the answers to your questions about the appointment process and what options we have available.
When requesting an appointment online or by phone, your James Clinic patient associate will help you choose the best treatment or service depending on your medical needs. If you know what treatment or service you would like to have scheduled, they will gather the necessary details and arrange the correct location, time and day of your choosing.
To begin with our Functional Consultation series, we will help you choose a care team that would best fit your medical needs.

Appointment Availability
We welcome both new and returning patients, with wait times varying based on the specific medical needs and the area of treatment you require.
For our functional medicine services, patients have the option of choosing between Dr. James and one of our nurse practitioners or physicians assistant. While we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific provider, you can request one with a patient associate and they will work with you to provide you the best care team for your health needs.
Wait times depend on your medical need and the service or treatment you’re seeking. Our patient associates work diligently to get you seen as soon as possible. Most appointments are less than a one week wait time.
Before your first appointment, you’ll have a few forms to submit electronically, including a comprehensive intake form to learn about you and your story. This first appointment in the Consultation Series is a one-hour session with your assigned RN care manager.
During your visit, we explore your entire health history, lifestyle, nutrition, and childhood experiences to tailor our investigation to your specific needs. This includes determining which lab tests are most relevant for you, whether we need to assess chronic infections, toxicity, gut health, micronutrients, genomics, inflammation, or hormonal balances. We make sure that every relevant aspect of your health is carefully considered to provide the most effective treatment plan.
Patient-Centered Care
Our team of clinicians work together to create a health plan that works for you based on your unique care needs.
In some situations, we will recommend seeing Dr. James first and then following up with one of our nurse practitioners. Our patient associates can help guide you toward the best provider for your medical needs.
Dr. James has built an amazing team of clinicians that you can trust. All providers have extensive clinical experience and training with Dr. James. Regardless of whether you connect with your provider online or in-person at one of our four locations, you receive consistent, high-quality care and attention from our top providers.
Before your appointment, clinicians will review your lab work as a team so they are all familiar with your situation and can adequately discuss treatment options. That way, you’ll receive the same care no matter who you see.
Yes, some of our patients choose to do this.
We offer this service only to patients who are part of Concierge. As long as you are active with our clinic as a concierge patient, you may list us as your PCP. If you are not under our concierge plan, you will need to select an alternate clinic to list as your PCP.
